HIPS, Florence and the University
- As educational project, HIPS combines an analysis of the past through the exam of its public representations.
- The host institution in Florence is SAGAS Department (acronyme for Storia/History, Archeologia/Archaelogy, Geografia/Geography, Arte e Spettacolo/Art and Performing Arts).
- SAGAS gathers together several disciplines involved in the study of Cultural heritage (Excellence Project, recognized by the Ministry of Education and Research, 2018-2023).

Located in the city centre in an historical building (Palazzo Fenzi), SAGAS offers the opportunities to bring HIPS to the heart of Florence.
